Soul food like this nougat mousse is probably more important than ever nowadays. The simple nougat dessert consists of only 3 ingredients: cream, cream cheese, chocolate cream. You'll need a hand mixer and a small bowl or pot. That's it. Whether you make the quick dessert with Nutella or another cream of your choice, it doesn't matter. It might even work with the healthy homemade alternative - I haven't tested that yet, though. When creating the recipe for this nougat dessert, I was inspired by my Nutella ice cream. I must also say that you don't really need a recipe for this dessert. You heat the nougat cream, mix it with the cream cheese and fold in the whipped cream. That's it. The only step that might be tricky is getting the right temperature in the first step. Otherwise, the nougat mousse in a jar is easy and absolutely sure to succeed.

How to make the Nougat Dessert

Let's start with this easy and quick nougat dessert recipe. You'll love it so go on reading! Firstly, you warm 150 grams of nut nougat cream with 50 grams of cream in a small saucepan or in the microwave very briefly. The mixture should no longer be solid but must not become too warm. Now, mix both with the cream cheese using a hand mixer until smooth.

It's time to whip the remaining cream with clean whisks until stiff. Then, add the nougat mix and fold in or continue to beat gently. Attention: Do not stir too much! After this, divide the cream among four glasses with a volume of approx. 180-200 ml. For the decoration, heat the remaining nut-nougat cream until it is liquid and spread fine stripes over it with a spoon. If you like, sprinkle with nut brittle just before serving. Enjoy your chocolatey dream!

    Mousse Au Chocolat

You've got to love this tempting dessert from France: fluffy, chocolatey, sinful!

The cream is rather gently sweetened. If you like it sweeter, stir powdered sugar into the cream cheese and nougat mixture before adding the whipped cream.

One of the many advantages of this recipe: Since the nougat dessert does not require an egg (unlike many other recipes), you can prepare it wonderfully. It tastes simply delicious, even the next day! Well, how does that sound to you? By the way, I have many more delicious desserts on the blog besides the nougat dessert. Starting from mousse au chocolat to lava cake and baked apples.
